About HelpADecision
HelpADecision is a focused, lightweight tool built by an indie developer to help people make better choices—fast. It combines a simple weighted pros & cons workflow with practical advice so you can decide with clarity and confidence.
Why I built this
I built HelpADecision because I needed it myself. I often found myself paralyzed by choices, both big and small. The classic pros-and-cons list fell short because it treats all points as equal, when in reality, some factors carry far more weight. This tool was created to give you a quick, repeatable process: list pros and cons, add realistic weightings, and see a clear result so you can act with confidence.
Our approach
- Practical: simple inputs, immediate outputs — no decision theory degree required.
- Transparent: you control the weights and labels; the tool only helps summarize the trade-offs.
- Actionable: each result includes suggested next steps and questions to consider.
Who benefits
Students weighing program choices, professionals evaluating offers, founders choosing features, and anyone who wants to reduce choice stress. The process is neutral — it clarifies options rather than deciding for you.
